A service-cabinet maker needed drawer slides that would survive the high cycle count of a workshop tool cabinet. Frequent access, dense tool loads and a fixed cabinet envelope set the parameters for the slide selection.
What we reviewed
We confirmed the installed drawer dimensions, extension requirement and lock configuration, then matched a full-extension slide that carries the drawer load over the full travel. The ball carriage keeps a consistent feel over thousands of operations.
How it was verified
The drawing, mounting holes and operating condition were reviewed before release, and a sample was function-tested at full extension under load.
Result
120,000 sets were delivered with a 98% on-time rate and 10-day sampling. The layout is now the reference for similar tool-storage projects.
